Auditions for The Pillowman and The Cottage

AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT

 We invite you to audition for The Pillowman and The Cottage at Central Lakes College, part of our Brainerd Community Theatre season for 2025-2026! Auditions will take place on Tuesday, December 16, at 6 PM. If you’re unavailable on this date, don’t worry—simply email us at [email protected] to arrange an alternate time.

Auditions for these productions are open to any adults in the community—no prior experience is required! We welcome first-timers and seasoned performers alike. (Note - there are no youth roles in either The Pillowman or The Cottage. Youth are encouraged to consider auditioning for our spring and summer productions: The Grapes of Wrath (kids and teens), Aladdin JR (ages 8-19) and Mean Girls (teens and adults) - audition dates to be announced.

Rehearsals are arranged with the play director, but anticipate a short rehearsal period for The Pillowman and a 6-7 week rehearsal period for The Cottage.

The Pillowman performs a staged reading (scripts in hand) in the Dryden Theatre on January 23, 2026. The Cottage performs Feb 12-15, 2026 in the Chalberg Theatre.
